January 2019 After several years hiatus, Fools & Kings is back developing a new musical called The Green Fairy, which goes into workshop in February in a co-production with Atticist. For more information, click here.
20 Jan 2016 Next up is Four Play, by Jake Brunger, which the team first presented in a reading at the Old Vic for the New Voices Festival in June, starring Richard Madden, Jeremy Irvine, Tom Rhys Harries and Joshua McCord. Jonathan O'Boyle directs, and the show runs for four weeks from the 16th of February.
3 June 2015 F&K are currently working on a number of projects outside the company, with Old Vic New Voices and Theatre 503, and will resume company work next year.

JUST ANNOUNCED Fools & Kings will stage their next show, the first London revival of Paula Vogel's extraordinary Pulitzer prize-winning play How I Learned to Drive
at Southwark Playhouse. Presented by DEM Productions,
How I Learned to Drive will run 11 February through 14 March 2015.

Fools & Kings is proud to present a new play by Milly Thomas: A First World Problem runs at Theatre 503 from the 1st to the 12th of July. It is directed by Holly Race Roughan and designed by Frankie Bradshaw. More information can be found here, and tickets are sold at Theatre 503's website.

We're proud to announce that Betrayal followed Chicago and Endgame by selling out before the first performance. Congratulations to Max Gill and his team for a fantastic success. That marks the end of Fools & Kings' time in Oxford: we look forward to returning to London. Keep checking back for information on our debut this autumn.

Our two productions for this autumn have just been announced: Kander and Ebb's seminal musical Chicago will run at the O'Reilly Theatre in November, and Beckett's brilliant Endgame will run at the Burton Taylor Theatre in the same month. Please click on What's On for more information on both shows.

Our next project is now in less than twelve days: in association with the Martin Esslin Society (www.oreillytheatre.co.uk), Fools & Kings is producing The MAD Festival, a series of rehearsed readings of Modern American Dramas, with a night of Modern American Music. Today the new website is launched: thanks for all the hits. Please change your various entries from the old .org.uk website to the new one (www.foolsandkingstheatre.com). We can also officially announce the cast and crew of Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, which is on at the Oxford Playhouse in January. Tickets can be booked online here: we're also thrilled to announce that 10% of the profits of the production will go to the National AIDS Trust.

Oleanna came and went: thank you to all who came to see it, and many thanks to the cast and crew (including associates Emma Hall and Charlie Parham) for their hard work. Preparation is well under way for Angels in America: Millennium Approaches; auditions begin this weekend (see What's On for more information, or find us on Facebook). We will also soon be announcing crew positions that need to be filled; if you're particularly keen, email us. Oleanna approaches swiftly: tickets can now be booked here. Come and see the double five star production that won Best Show at the Cambridge Tab Theatre Awards. Oleanna is a co-production with Wield the Matter, hot of their success with the critically acclaimed Love and Understanding at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Fools and Kings is happy to announce two projects: Oleanna, at the Tristan Bates Theatre in September 2012, in a production directed by Emma Hall, and starring Charlie Hamblin and Charlie Parham. Secondly, Fools and Kings will bring Tony Kushner's seminal Angels in America: Millenium Approaches to the Oxford Playhouse in February 2013.
